React Native Vs Native

Between using a Native app (developing two different/separate apps for Android and for iOS) and/or opting for a Cross-platform app (One app that bodes well for both platforms) developers have long way been bewildered! The differentiation comes along with a comparison between the pros and the cons of both strategies: Being the choice of few companies like Facebook, Uber, UberEats and Bloomberg, React Native is good because it has a: Single Code base Low development Time Ease for Web development Hot reloading. However, it has unfavorable side also like: Lack of Native elements Limits third party libraries Web support for all Native APIs Compared to the former, Native also has Positive and negative characteristics such, starting with the pros: API Access Third party Libraries Robust Language While, in counterpart it takes a lot of effort and time to build and develop two separate apps from the scratch for two separate platforms. In other words: • While with native you have to write twice, with React native you only would write it once; • React native has some Web development influence, whereas Native hasn’t any. • Native has a ‘plentiful’ of APIs and Third party libraries while rarely does the React native has any of the latter. • In terms of ‘Community and reusable components’ both has a large capacity; • They also, both, have A great percentage of Store Acceptance • Idem, for the long-terms perspectives, both React and Native have a good ability; • While when it comes to the use Native is described as much more complex than the React.
